Vic Sussman, senior editor for the public radio business program “Marketplace,” died Nov. 22 in Washington, of an apparent stroke after surgery. He was 65.
A message on the “Marketplace” Web site stated that Sussman had worked for the Washington Post, U.S. News & World Report, Voice of America, America Online and Cahners Business Information. He joined “Marketplace,” produced in Los Angeles by American Public Media, in January 2004.
Sussman also had worked at public radio station WAMU(FM) in Washington as a reporter/producer.
His wife and three children survive him. Funeral arrangements were pending.
