For those who could not make the recent NAB Show in Las Vegas, or if you were there but couldn’t see everything you wanted to see, the folks at Omnia Audio have made available Founder and President Frank Foti’s talk on single sideband suppressed carrier transmission signal improvement technology at the Omnia Audio YouTube channel.
The 30-minute session took place on April 15 and according to the company was well attended.
A more explanatory white paper on the technology, “Method to Improve Conventional FM Stereo Transmission Performance, Reduce Multipath and Provide Increased Protection to the Baseband Spectrum,” written by Foti, is available (PDF). Omnia has begun to incorporate the technology in its Omnia.9 and Omnia.11 processors.
