ABC Radio National signed with VidiGo to enable automatic switching of cameras during radio productions using VidiGo Visual Radio.
Visual Radio enables multiplatform radio content with a fully automated workflow. VidiGo automates camera switching based on measured audio levels with high standard image quality that enables broadcast industry quality video content.
This installation also includes integration of VidiGo with IP-driven Panasonic robotic cameras.
Visual Radio software based workflow features automatic camera switching based on measured audio levels and the Sync. Video Clip Starter enables radio stations to create professional video without extra staff. VidiGo Graphics is integrated and renders the video through SDI. VidiGo Graphics enables users to add real-time graphics, including social media and newsfeeds into the production.
“We don’t bring a traditional TV environment to radio; we extend the existing radio workflow with video. We realized from the start that we shouldn’t bother radio professionals with creating video,” said VidiGo CEO Hans Krouwels. “Therefore, we have developed a highly automated software based workflow that can be fully integrated with existing workflows.”
DAVE, an in-house developed low-latency video engine, is the core of all VidiGo workflows.
