Visiosonic has released an addition to its PCDJ line, PCDJ Broadcaster.
The software is a dual-channel player that plays all formats of compressed digital media: MP3, Microsoft’s WMA, streaming MP3 (M3U), PLS, and more. Users can import a Winamp playlist directly into PCDJ Broadcaster. It can play two files at once, allowing the user to create a mix with cross-fade and mix controls.
The system enables users to add live voiceovers and send the mix to any Internet broadcasting source. The system will also take external inputs.
Since the launch of PCDJ Broadcaster on July 25, 2000 the software has been downloaded from C-Net.com 130,940 times.
