The That’s Voiceover crew brings their talent show/trade show to Los Angeles in search of new VO talent and to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
The date is Oct. 6, the place is the Pacific Design Center.
Joan Baker, author of “Secrets of Voice-over Success” and a voiceover artist herself, will host along with Rolanda Watts of the “Judge Joe Brown” show.
Attendees will hear from voice pros and talent agents from TV and radio on how to break into and survive in the industry. An “American Idol”-style talent show will result in three prospective talents getting contracts for a TV promo and a pair of audiobook narrations.
Sponsors include WhisperRoom and Neumann/Sennheiser, both of which will have equipment on display.
