VOA Begins New Cuban Program

VOA has begun a new 30-minute Spanish-language program aimed at Cuba. The “Window on Cuba” features news, and interviews with Cubans inside and outside the country. The Spanish Branch of VOA’s Latin American Division broadcasts 12 1/2 hours of programming weekly. It began this show in response to Cuban listeners who access VOA’s Spanish-language programs via shortwave and satellite.
