Vote Delayed on Cross-Ownership Change Repeal

Now slated for April 24.

The Senate Commerce Committee postponed its vote on a resolution to nullify the FCC’s relaxation of the cross-ownership ban.

The vote, initially scheduled for April 2, is now slated for April 24.

The committee did not give a reason for the delay; however the Bush Administration made it known this week if the resolution makes it to the president, he would be advised to veto it.
