RF measurement and analysis software developer V-Soft has announced that the WatchDog module for FMCommander has been updated to operate with Windows XP/7/8.
WatchDog integrates within FMCommander and is programmed to allow “the user to prepare a list of addressees and add stations’ call signs to that list. Full channel-studies containing Sec. 73.207 separations reports and Sec. 73.509 contour to contour reports for each station on the list will be sent by email attachment.”
It adds, “The entire list of emails can be sent automatically on a recurring basis without user intervention, running as a background task.”Reports can also be printed. Price: $950.
Other recent FMCommander updates include improved FM frequency searches and the latest version “combines detailed coverage and contour-to-contour color mapping and text print-outs. It includes an interactive FCC minimum separations map. Upgrade your station or move its transmitter site under short space. Integrates FCC data, census data, terrain data, tower, airport, AM stations, major highways, city and county boundaries and lakes and oceans into one complete FM channel search and mapping package.”
