V-Soft Communications celebrated its move into new digs by releasing an update to the FM Commander FM allocation software.
One of the new tweaks is a filter that spots FM database information in the antenna, class ERP, COR or HAAT categories that has been changed and flags it. Also new are calculations for Canadian, Mexican and U.S. cross-border contours. These match international treaties with our neighbors.
More new goodies include an improvement in the antenna pattern editor allowing protection areas to be better defined. And throwing a bone to backwardness, FM Commander offers the option to use older FCC distance algorithms in calculating PM processing so that FM Commander users will get the same answer as the FCC would.
