Interep named Michael Walsh its president and COO.
Walsh will report to David Kennedy, the CEO and vice chair; he will oversee Interep’s radio representation firms, as well as Net Solutions, its unwired network division. Kennedy will continue to focus on financial restructuring related to the company’s long-term debt, and on developing its growth strategy in digital including growth of its interactive division, the company stated.
Walsh was president of Interep’s Cumulus Major Market Sales, formerly Susquehanna Radio Sales.
