Audio software plug-in manufacturer Waves Ltd. launched an Education and Professional Content Division to market interactive and educational tools to the professional music market.
Author and journalist Robert Charles Alexander is the division's marketing director. It intends to publish academic and popular educational materials, including a biography of audio pioneer Michael Gerzon, how-to books, instructional DVDs and interactive book/CD packages.
It will conduct educational seminars/workshops and develop Web sites to promote education about audio and sound.
