WBGL Is Axia-Friendly

Station adds Element 2.0 consoles

Axia said WBGL(FM) in Champaign, Ill., ordered three Element 2.0 consoles and associated gear.

The station is owned by Family Friendly Radio.

“The purchase expands WBGL’s Axia installation to four studios; the sale was made by Broadcasters General Store,” the manufacturer stated. WBGL put its first Axia studio on five years ago.

Its routing network now has four networked Axia consoles, plus audio nodes and PowerStation integrated console engines. “The system also makes use of the Axia IP-Audio Driver for Windows, a software application which enables PCs to output audio for use directly on-air using the computer’s NIC instead of a sound card,” Axia stated.
