Weather Decision Technologies and Global Security Systems have teamed up to create an iOS device app that takes advantage of WDT’s weather information service and GSS’ Alert FM system.
The app will be available in free and paid versions. It will provide weather information, including mapping, along with emergency alert functions. The alert functions will not be limited to weather only but will encompass standard Alert FM messages, such as local and national authority messages, Amber Alerts, local school and road closures, etc.
An Android version is expected to be released later this month.
