The Web site DXing.info is now online. It is a source for radio hobbyists worldwide.
Its managers say the content is aimed primarily at DXers interested in medium-wave and shortwave broadcasting, but that FM listeners, other radio hobbyists and broadcasting professionals will find useful material.
Reference material includes a glossary of DX terms with hyperlinks, news on world radio, audio samples, logs, background articles and “Dxpedition” reports.
The site is based on an earlier version, “Freeze! DXing Arctic Style,” but has been redesigned with more useful navigation and improved access. Mika Mäkeläinen, a Finnish broadcast journalist and Dxer, edits it.
