Web Surfers to Take Part in 'Radio Wayne' Benefit Auction

The Broadcasters Foundation and The Roaring Fork Conservancy will benefit from the third Radio Wayne Silent Auction during the RAB convention in New Orleans.
The event is named in honor of the late Wayne Cornils, who died in 2000.
“Donated merchandise will be on display during RAB2003 in the Carrollton Room of the Hyatt Regency, allowing attendees to browse and bid on-site,” RAB stated. “For the first time, the (auction) will be fully online at the RAB2003 Web site, courtesy of Radio Web Network. Shoppers everywhere will be able to view and bid on items by clicking on Silent Auction at www.rab2003.com.”
A preview of the auction is available at that site. Donations with a value of $50 or more are being accepted now. Donors will be eligible to win free registrations to the RAB Radio Training Academy or a P1 Auction Sales System from Radio Web Network.
Cornils was an executive for RAB and NAB. The Broadcasters Foundation assists broadcasters and their families with acute financial needs. The Roaring Fork Conservancy is a local environmental organization.
