Wegener Corp. will conduct regional forums shortly in New York and Los Angeles.
The Big Apple event is set for Jan. 27–29 at the AMA Executive Conference Center; the West Coast version will be held Feb. 17–18 at the Hotel Angeleno.
These are regional events that the company holds to provide media industry people with information about its media distribution technologies and strategies; the forums began in 2005 and designed as “private, one-on-one sessions tailored to each company’s individual needs.” Wegener says meeting slots should be reserved; e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for info.
Topics and demos include digital signage, datacasting, file-based video and audio workflows, multi-site/client/application networks, bandwidth consumption, IP video and centralized media.
Wegener’s line includes iPump media servers for file-based and live broadcasts; COMPEL Network Control and COMPEL Conditional Access for command, monitoring and addressing of multi-site video, audio and data networks; and Unity satellite media receivers for live radio and video broadcasts.
