Progressive music station WEHM(FM) on Long Island said it has doubled its coverage in Suffolk County. It also began simulcasting on 96.9 MHz as well as its current 92.9, the company stated in the announcement.
“Last week, the 92.9 ‘EHM antenna was moved 14 miles to the west, introducing the station for the first time to hundreds of thousands of Long Islanders in central and western Suffolk County. The simulcast of ‘EHM on the 96.9 frequency ensures the Hamptons listener the most powerful signal available to broadcast their hometown station,” it stated.
Recently, it said, the station improved signal on the 96.9 frequency. The Bloomberg format that channel is now reduced to hourly updates.
