Jack Foley
Westwood One has selected salesman Jack Foley as its new vice president in its business development. He will be based in New York City. In other Cumulus Media news, Jon Pinch has been appointed market manager for its six-station cluster in Atlanta.
Prior to joining Westwood One, Foley was a business development manager for the Radio Disney Group. He also served as VP/director of sales for Entercom’s Boston cluster, including WEEI(FM), WAAF(FM), WRKO(AM) and WMKK(FM). Past roles include regional VP of sales at Clear Channel Radio and Entertainment, where he was responsible for revenue generated by 44 radio stations in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Maine.
In addition to executive positions in radio sales, Foley was president/owner of Transworld Advisors MV, a mergers and acquisitions brokerage, and SVP of business development for Opus 3 Mobile, where he developed content publisher and advertising sales relationships for an ad-supported mobile content company.
Westwood One’s portfolio features exclusive brands, such as the NFL, Red Carpet Radio, Nash and Rdio. It is a division of Cumulus Media.
In Atlanta, Jon Pinch replaces former Market Manager Jeff Brown, who was promoted to corporate senior vice president in April. Pinch has served as executive vice president and chief operating officer for Cumulus for the past 14 years.
Earlier this month, Cumulus announced the 45-year radio broadcasting veteran’s retirement from the company, initially scheduled for late November. Pinch has since decided to take on one more assignment for the company, overseeing WKHX(FM), WNNX(FM), WWQ(FM), WWWQ(HD2), WWWQ(HD3) and WYAY(FM).
