Clear Channel Radio has chosen Harris’ Broadcast Communications Division to provide a five-room broadcast suite for the syndicated program,
“The Bob & Tom Show.” The studios are to be constructed at WFBQ(FM), Indianapolis, where the show is produced.
The studios, designed exclusively for “The Bob & Tom Show,” will consist of a main studio, mix room, production room, phone call screener’s room, and an additional room for broadcasts of live bands. In the main studio, each host has selected a Harris digital console, with Bob choosing a BMXdigital On-Air Digital Audio Console and Tom selecting an AirWave Digital On-Air Digital Audio Console.
Harris also will provide custom-designed furniture. The studios are designed specifically to meet the requests of the station’s staff, including: sight lines between all studios, easily accessible equipment, and tabletop space for news and sports preparation.
Hosts Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold created “The Bob & Tom Show” in 1983 as morning hosts at WFBQ. The show began syndication in 1995 and is now heard in 125 markets.
