WFUV Pumps Up the Music Via HD2

Starting this weekend, the station said it will expand its weekday music content to a full-time service it calls FUV 24/7 and which will be available seven days a week as a channel on its Web site and via HD Radios.

Public station WFUV is talking up new content that will air on its HD2 channel.

Starting this weekend, the station said it will expand its weekday music content to a full-time service it calls FUV 24/7 and which will be available seven days a week as a channel on its Web site and via HD Radios.

“WFUV’s listeners have been asking for more airtime devoted to this music for years,” PD Chuck Singleton said in the announcement.

The triple-A station at Fordham University in New York already has plans for its HD3 channel, a radio stream for younger music fans that debuts in fall of 2008.
