Broadcast equipment manufacturer Wheatstone has announced that it has selected Broadcom Ltd. of Andover, England, to be its U.K. distributor for the company’s consoles and audio over IP products.
In a release Wheatstone indicated that one of the reasons it selected Broadcom because it also handles other audio over IP equipment manufacturers.
Wheatstone Director of Sales Jay Tyler said, “Combining Broadcom’s expertise with our product line is a powerful combination that is going to benefit broadcasters in the U.K.”
Broadcom Managing Director Mark Thom added, “We’ve been doing real-time audio IP since 2002, so when we decided to expand IP into the studio, the choice was simple. Wheatstone takes audio over IP to a whole new level in terms of control and access.”
