Wheatstone Signs Three Master Distributors

Marking a shift in how the company markets to U.S. customers, Wheatstone has signed mutually exclusive distributor agreements with three companies.
President Gary Snow told Radio World Monday that Broadcasters General Store, SCMS and RF Specialties of St. Louis now offer customers the entire line of Wheatstone and Audioarts radio products including consoles, routers, wiring and furniture products. They are considered “master distributors.” Snow said those three companies agreed to sell only Wheatstone’s products in those categories.
“I think that ‘relationship selling’ is the way our business is going to continue to go,” Snow said.
The manufacturer will continue to sell Wheatstone products direct to clients who prefer to buy that way, Snow said. Other Audioarts dealer agreements are not affected.
