Wheeless Appointed Assoc. Managing Dir. for FCC PERM

The FCC named Dr. Karen Wheeless associate managing director for Performance Evaluation and Records Management. She joined the commission in 2001 as deputy associate managing director of PERM.
Among the programs she will lead are the annual regulatory fee assessment process; planning and performance reporting required by the Government Performance and Results Act; Freedom of Information and Privacy Act programs; and compliance with paperwork, data quality and records management legislation.
