Connect Series is a new line of economy snakes from Whirlwind. The first is a 100-foot snake with 16 sends and four XLR returns, retailing for $399.95. The company said the product line fits a niche between its high-end Medusa series and budget brands. Features include fanouts with multiple layers of heat shrink at critical points; wire-mesh strain relief and grip on the box; and connectors hand-soldered to the XLRs.
