Whoopi Hits the Airwaves; Syndication Starts in Two Weeks

National syndication starts on Aug. 14 for “Wake Up With Whoopi.”
Clear Channel’s show debuted today in New York on WKTU(FM). It’ll hit the airwaves in Chicago, San Francisco and Cincinnati in the middle of August.
Premiere Radio Networks, part of Clear Channel, touts the show as a live program that accommodates several different music formats and “is finding particular traction with Adult Contemporary stations.”
It airs weekday mornings 5 to 9 a.m.
