Emmis is moving a nationally known legendary format from the AM band to an FM channel.
The Indy Channel has the story about the coming move in January of WIBC Indianapolis from 1070 kHz to 93.1 MHz.
The AM now will carry a sports format. Former top 40 WNOU will carry Christmas content on the FM slot until the switch is completed. Tom Severino is VP/market manager.
