Low-power FM station WIKD in Daytona Beach, Fla., is using a new VS300LP transmitter.
WIKD is run and engineered by students; it went on in 2005 under a timeshare license with another nearby LPFM college station, and won a frequency change to 102.5 MHz this year. It goes by the name WIKD “The Wicked” 102.5 FM.
Nautel has posted a commentary by station GM Daniel Chiericoni about the new transmitter. Read it here.
