Windows 10 ♥ iHeartRadio

iHeartRadio says its new Windows 10 app is now available in the Windows Store, and since this latest Microsoft operating system launched, the Windows Store has seen more than four times the downloads of the iHeartRadio app for users of Windows 10 operating system as compared to users of Windows 8, iHeartMedia said.

“We are committed to sharing our passion for music directly with fans and iHeartRadio for Windows 10 will give listeners new ways and even more options for accessing their favorite live radio stations, songs and entertainment designed specifically for Windows 10,” said President of Business Development and Partnerships for iHeartMedia Michele Laven.

The company says that iHeartRadio continues its efforts to provide instantaneous access to favorite live radio stations, artists, songs and entertainment. Features exclusive to Windows 10 include Cortana voice-activated search integration, Live Tiles and music downloading for Groove Music Pass subscribers. Additionally, this new version will offer users access to the full suite of features including the ability to:

  • Create custom stations
  • Listen to thousands of live radio stations
  • Browse personalized station recommendations, play saved “Favorites” and listen to hand-curated stations “Perfect For” any mood or activity
  • Enjoy podcasts
  • Share stations on Facebook, OneNote and Twitter

“Together with iHeartRadio, Windows 10 will provide people with a personal and productive experience with instant access to their favorite music and entertainment along with new innovations like Cortana, Microsoft Edge and the Xbox app,” said Todd Brix, general manager, Windows Store and Developer Marketing at Microsoft.
