WireCad is promoting version 5 documentation tools for cable management systems integration.
The company says WireCad automates the process of single-line documentation for audio and video facilities. Broadcast and production facilities and other venues with a large amount of wiring can benefit. Among the upgrades in version 5: edit equipment block in place, and a community equipment library server for open source equipment definitions.
At its booth at the spring NAB the company also promoted Patch Verx, which creates scaled and printable designation strips and layouts for jack fields and patch bays.
