The Paley Center plans this week to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the debut of “WKRP in Cincinnati.”
Founded in 1975 by former CBS president William S. Paley, the center plans a reunion of cast members from the show in Los Angeles this Wednesday.
The event will be live-streamed June 4 beginning at 7:30 p.m. Pacific and 10:30 p.m. Eastern.
“WKRP” debuted on CBS Sept. 18, 1978 and aired four seasons.
Howard Hesseman, who played Dr. Johnny Fever, Loni Anderson, who played Jennifer Marlowe and Tim Reid, who played Venus Flytrap are expected as are creator Hugh Wilson and directors Jay Sandrich and Asaad Kelada. The Paley Center says additional guests will be announced.
