The FCC says Infinity’s WNEW(FM), New York is apparently liable for $21,000 worth of broadcast indecency fines. The agency followed up on complaints that WNEW aired objectionable material three times on the “Opie and Anthony Show,” which airs from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The language in question involved a teenage girl having sex with her father, “Teen Guess What’s In My Pants?” and sexual references for girls under three years old.
Infinity it has no recordings of the allegedly indecent material and cannot determine whether a transcript of the material is accurate. Infinity has 30 days to ask the FCC to rescind or reduce the fine or pay it.
