CBS Radio’s WOGL(FM) in Philadelphia raised almost $690,000 in its recent
“98.1 WPGL Loves Our Kids Radiothon,” Sept. 10–11, for the Children’s Miracle Network
at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Promotional and logistical help came from its
local sister CBS Radio stations along with Philadelphia Area Mazda Dealers and several other
businesses. Much of the radiothon was broadcast from a Ryan Seacrest studio at the hospital.
The station says it has raised almost $7.6 million in the 14 years it has done the radiothon.
