Dr. Stephen Woo, president of Samsung Electronics Device Solutions, is scheduled to deliver the International CES day two opening keynote speech, 9 a.m., Jan. 9, 2013 at the Palazzo Ballroom in the Venetian.
Woo has been at Samsung since 2003 and is in charge of the division responsible for items such as smartphone processors, camera imaging chips, integrated circuits for flat panels and SIM cards. He is credited to tripling that division’s revenue, according to a release.
Before Samsung he worked at Bell Labs and Texas Instruments.
Consumer Electronics Association President and CEO Gary Shapiro said, noting Samsung’s position as a leading technology product manufacturer and developer, “Samsung captures global attention when it launches its dynamic products at the International CES.”
The International CES is scheduled for Jan. 8–11, 2013, in Las Vegas.
