Planners of the AES convention have issued a list of workshops for the October show in San Francisco.
They include “Testing Car Audio Quality,” “Field Recording in the Wild,” “Spatial Coding of Surround Sound,” “Future Challenges for the All-Software Studio,” “High-Resolution Audio in an Age of Universal Playback,” “Firewire In Studios” and workshops on low-bit-rate perceptual codecs, architectural acoustics, audio recording media, loudspeaker models and other topics.
