World Café Venue Names Managers

In October you’ll actually be able to eat in the World Cafe.
Details are falling into place for World Café Live in Philadelphia. The venue, named after the syndicated WXPN radio program and to be located in the same historic building, is owned and run by Real Entertainment Group. The parent organization now has named three top staff for the complex.
Michael Cash is general manager; he comes out of the hospitality and service industry. Bill Drinkwater was named the director “for information technologies and coffee” (he has experience in both technology and gourmet beverage businesses).
Bruce Ranes is music director of the venue; he co-launched the original radio program and was its first producer.
World Cafe Live will have a live music cafe and a 350-person music hall, both with food and beverage service. The complex is independently owned but will share space with WXPN’s new office and studio facilities.
