WorldCast Silvers Reach Romania

Via its distributor Laet Exim, the company has delivered some 100 IP Silver units throughout the country

WorldCast Systems has announced that it has sold more than 100 IP Silver units to broadcasters and commercial audio providers in Romania.

Sold through Bucharest-based dealer, Laet Exim, the IP audio encoder and IP audio decoder Silver units work together to deliver audio content over IP networks, says WorldCast.

Marius Marin, Owner and CEO of Laet Exim, explains that public Internet links in Romania are an affordable and reliable way to distribute audio between locations. He provides IP audio links for both broadcasters and retail streaming customers, supplying full turnkey solutions.

According to Marin, the Silver units, which use Enhanced apt-X algorithm, have improved the SNR, audio dynamics and THD. “The very low delay offered by Enhanced apt-X is also a major benefit as it enables the DJ to stay fully in control of the transmission,” he said.

He added that the IP Silvers allow Laet Exim’s customers to utilize quality datalinks that are also cost-effective.
