WorldDAB General Assembly Previews Agenda

Annual event is set to take place in Vienna Nov. 9–10

Attendees can start planning how they will spend some of their time during the WorldDAB General Assembly in Vienna, as the organization has announced its first group of keynote speakers and the Draft program.

With the theme of “New content, New markets,” the organization has announced a trio of keynote speakers who will discuss new opportunities and different markets for digital radio. The three keynote speakers include Jimmy Buckland, director of strategy at Wireless Group; Andreas Geiss, head of unit — radio spectrum policy at the European Commission; and Patrice Gélinet from French regulator CSA.

The Draft program being offered during the General Assembly will run over two days and covers developed markets, emerging markets, next step for receivers, broadcasters and DAB in the bigger picture. To see the full schedule for the Draft program, click here.
