WorldDAB Preps for ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium

Will hold DAB+ workshop, feature DAB+ pavilion and more

WorldDAB is gearing up for the ABU Digital Broadcasting Symposium, which will be held March 4–7 in Kuala Lumpur.

Sporting the theme “Digital Transition and Transformation,” the 2019 symposium will put focus on industry advances and new technologies. It will also offer the chance for industry experts to share their experience and vision of these technologies and detail implementation.

As the principal sponsor of the event, WorldDAB says it will take the opportunity to update delegates on the latest developments on DAB+ digital radio both in the Asia Pacific region and around the world, including market updates, in-car digital radio progress, as well as the latest information on how broadcasters are employing broadcast and IP.

The organization will hold a DAB+ digital radio workshop on March 4, featuring presentations and discussions from industry experts DAB+ developments. Various WorldDAB members will also participate in the main conference program offering insight into their digital radio deployment.

In addition, says WorldDAB, several DAB+ supply chain firms operating in the Asia-Pacific regions will be on hand in the DAB+ pavilion with their local experts to provide advice on rolling out DAB+.
