WorldSpace has completed the move of its corporate headquarters from a corner of downtown Washington, D.C., to a nearby revitalizing suburb, on Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring, Md.
The new office has 52,000 square feet of space. WorldSpace said it expects the facility to “foster greater synergy among staff and accommodate future growth.”
Chairman/CEO Noah Samara noted that the location is near other media companies such as Discovery Communications and AFI. After 10 years in D.C., he said, “the move to Silver Spring strategically places us in the heart of the media industry and is consistent with our ongoing strategy to grow our satellite
radio services globally.”
