The World Radio Communication Conference launched Monday, Nov. 2 in Geneva and is scheduled to run until Nov. 27.
Hosted by the International Telecommunications Union, this conference — which is held every three or four years — reviews radio frequency regulation and policies. Among the issues to be discussed this year are freeing up additional spectrum for mobile broadband, emergency communications, drones and short-range, high-resolution radar.
