WUSC(FM) in Columbia, S.C., completed a conversion to an all-digital radio station with the acquisition of a Broadcast Electronics AudioVault digital media system.
The studio upgrade replaces a BE AV100 system in a year-long conversion effort that includes a BE FMi 201 HD Radio transmitter and IDi 20 Data Importer for broadcasting HD Radio and an HD2 international “Jack” format. The University of South Carolina station is one of the first college-run FMs to add a multicast channel, according to the supplier.
