Several broadcasters, equipment manufacturers and the SBE are helping Virginia Tech station WUVT(FM) in Blacksburg move its transmission facilities from the top of a dorm on campus to a nearby mountaintop. But more help is needed.

Here’s a list of items/services WUVT needs:
– Digital STL Tx/Rx
– Antenna (4-foot grid dish for 900 MHz)
– Re-coordination of STL path
– Connectors for STL
– Connectors for main feedline
– Ice guard/tramway to tower for feedlines
– Excavation of foundation pad
– Slate bed for pad pour
– Concrete pour
– Electrical conduit and hook-ups, lighting, etc
– Additional remote control apparatus (universal modems, SCA cards, TTL/RS-232 cards, SIO, IP8)
– Any additional security fencing needed around site
– HD Radio Modulation Monitor
