New names now included in the MeasureCast Internet Radio Rankings are Standard Broadcasting, the largest private Canadian broadcast company, and Philadelphia’s WXPN(FM).
The rankings are for the week of April 22. Next week, MeasureCast will release data for May 1, the day some online stations went silent to protest proposed royalties for streaming.
Standard Broadcasting streams 11 stations over the Internet and took the No. 9 spot in the MeasureCast Top 10 Internet Radio Networks chart.
WXPN, an adult album alternative station, entered the MeasureCast Weekly Top 25 chart at number five, edging out MEDIAmazing.com.
London’s JazzFM has the largest audience of any MeasureCast-monitored Webcaster.
