WXXI Uses Wheatstone Surfaces

From Radio World’s “Who’s Buying What” page:
Wheatstone said WXXI in Rochester, N.Y., chose its work surface technology for a project requiring an integrated audio network for TV and radio broadcasts.
The station is a PBS and NPR licensee; it operates TV 21 in addition to multiple digital television channels. Radio stations include WXXI(FM), WJSL(FM) and WXXI(AM).
Generation 3 and the larger Generation 5 control surfaces will be implemented in radio broadcasts while the D-9 will serve as the principle audio mixer for television broadcasts and productions.
Wheatstone said its digital Bridge router will replace an analog router and allow the client to move from stand-alone consoles to an “any source any place” system architecture.
