Microsoft will offer an HD video stream of the two-day iHeartRadio Music Festival on Xbox 360, through an agreement withClear Channel Radio.
Xbox Live will be the only place fans can stream the event in high-definition. The festival also will be heard live on CC stations in 150 markets, and streamed across all of its station websites.
The big relaunch of the iHeartRadio is celebrated with the festival in Las Vegas this weekend, deemed by the organizers as the biggest live concert festival in radio history.
This agreement lets Xbox 360 users stream performances from the festival in HD on the Xbox Live network. To watch,Xbox Live members sign in to their account and access the concert HD stream on the dashboard.
The announcement was made by Corporate Vice President of Xbox Live Tom Gibbons and Clear Channel Radio President/CEO John Hogan.
