XM Adds Corporate Development Position

Donald Charlton has joined XM as senior vice president of corporate development. Charlton, it said, will focus on the long-term business plan and determine the viability of advanced applications and their potential as business opportunities for the satcaster.
Charlton comes from wireless device and services company InPhonic Inc., where he was executive vice president of strategic development/mergers and acquisitions. He is also former owner and president of Liberty Wireless.
