XM Debuts New Ad Campaign

XM Satellite Radio this week debuts a new television commercial on national network TV and cable TV featuring new music by The Black Eyed Peas.
XM’s 30-second commercial, produced by Mullen Advertising, opens with the scene of a typical morning traffic jam. A driver commuting to his office sits happily behind the wheel of his automobile while he listens to The Black Eyed Peas’ new hit single “Shut Up” on his Delphi XM SKYFi radio. The driver proceeds to steer his car through the front door of his office building, across the lobby, up the elevator, and over to his desk while the music plays and a voice-over says, “XM Satellite Radio. One hundred digital channels you’ll never want to be without.” The driver removes the SKYFi radio from the car cradle, exits the car, and inserts it into the Delphi XM boombox sitting on his desk.
The spot will air on ABC, CBS and NBC as well as cable channels such as Fox, CNN, ESPN, Discovery and TNT.
