XM, Napster Launch Beta Version

XM Satellite Radio and Napster have integrated their music offerings for subscribers at napster.xmradio.com.
This is a beta version of the product, called XM + Napster. The companies say the service provides one interface for accessing, purchasing and downloading music heard on XM from Napster.
Songs and albums purchased there can be played on portable MP3 players. Upcoming players will let subscribers listen to XM live when the players are docked in the car or at home, mark the titles of songs played on XM for reference in XM + Napster and store content.
The service allows XM subscribers to listen to music channels online and access Napster’s catalog for listening, purchasing and downloading.
The companies said this will be the exclusive digital music downloading service for XM subscribers.
