XM Passes 2 Million Subscriber Mark

XM reported 2.1 million subscribers for the second quarter and the company projects it will have more than 3 million paying customers by the end of this year. That’s slightly up from the company’s previous guidance of 2.8 million. Company President/CEO Hugh Panero credits the subscriber growth to new car and retail sales. XM added 418, 449 subscribers in Q2.
