XM to Air ACC, PAC-10 Conferences

XM is expanding sports coverage with college football and basketball. The company plans to air Atlantic Coast Conference and Pacific-10 Conference collegiate football and basketball games. As the “official satellite radio partner” of the Pac-10 and ACC, XM will carry the football and basketball games as part of its basic channel line-up. Terms were not disclosed.
XM is excited about fan and alumni interest in games while the ACC wants to reach its fans on “a growing number of media platforms,” stated ACC Commissioner John Swofford.
